Melbourne, CBD
Beyond Blue’s vision is that all people in Australia achieve their best possible mental health.
Company
For more than 25 years, people in Australia have placed their trust in Beyond Blue as a reliable source of mental health information, support and hope.
We are one of Australia’s most well-known, trusted, and visited mental health organisations. We never take this for granted. With that comes a deep responsibility to listen, to understand people’s needs and aspirations, and to ensure they are at the heart of everything we do.
About the role
As Workforce Coordinator, Before Blue, you’ll play an important part in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our Before Blue services. Working within the operations team, you’ll help coordinate workforce resourcing, intake scheduling and service support so people can access the help they need — when they need it.
Working closely with the Before Blue team — including the Operations Manager, Team Leaders, Mental Health Coaches and other teams — you’ll support a range of workforce coordination activities.
This includes helping track workforce capacity, keeping schedules up to date and contributing to day-to-day workforce planning and service delivery. You’ll also support central enquiries, including inbound and outbound calls, helping fill cancelled appointments, coordinating intake processes and triaging basic system or tech issues.
All of this helps create a consistent and positive experience for both our team and the people we support.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. It’s well suited to someone early in their career, or looking to build experience in workforce operations, coordination or service delivery within a purpose-driven organisation.
About you
You’re someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a busy, hands-on environment. You like keeping things on track, supporting others and making sure day-to-day tasks run smoothly.
You may have some experience in administration, customer service, scheduling or coordination, or be looking to take the next step in your career and build your skills in a workforce or operations-focused role.
You’ll also bring:
Importantly, you’re someone who aligns with Beyond Blue’s values — you build trust, support others to thrive, show courage when it counts, and focus on what matters most. You’re motivated by purpose and are excited by the opportunity to build your skills while contributing to making mental health support more accessible for all.
