About the role
SF Civil Construction Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Pipelayer/Drainer to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a full-time position based on-site where you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of pipeline and drainage systems across our civil construction projects. As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for ensuring that all pipework is installed to the highest standards, meeting safety regulations and project specifications. This role is essential to the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects and contributes directly to the quality and integrity of our construction outcomes.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Installing pipes, pits, and ensuring correct alignment.
- Excavating and preparing trenches for pipe installation.
- Coordinating with site managers and other crew members to maintain workflow.
- Supporting site preparation, clean-up, and maintenance.
- Operating hand tools and basic machinery as needed.
- Following all site safety regulations and procedures.
- Identifying and mitigating any potential hazards on-site.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in civil construction pipe-laying, or relevant trade qualification
- Be physically fit to complete all manual tasks required
- Proven experience laying a variety of different pipes, PVC, PE, Cast Iron, DICL
- Previous experience working in a small - medium size work team
- Construction industry - White Card
- WA Drivers licence
