We are seeking talented and compassionate Occupational Therapists to contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of our clients at their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out in-person assessments of client’ abilities and challenges.
- Developing strategies and treatment plans to support clients in overcoming their challenges.
- Assessing the client’s environment, such as work or home, to suggest modifications as needed.
- Teaching clients exercises and strategies to apply in their daily lives.
- Providing advice on technical equipment that may support the client.
- Liaising with other treating professionals to discuss client’s progress.
Support Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow and effective communication within the office.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations as required.
- Assist in compiling and analysing data for reporting purposes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Clinical experience in a community-based setting or working in rehabilitation setting.
- Experience working with Aged Care and NDIS clients is highly desirable.
- Understanding and interpreting a variety of assessment screening tools within NDIS.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including case managers, suppliers, and Support Coordinators.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for making a positive impact on the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Requirements:
- AHPRA Registration.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Current Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Valid driver’s licence
