About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager / Human Resources Coordinator to support our Sydney office and Australian team.
This is a broad, hands on role based in the office five days per week. It covers office management, executive support, HR administration, onboarding, HR systems, recruitment coordination and general business administration.
The role will work closely with senior executives, employees, suppliers and international stakeholders across the UK, Middle East and North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day running of the Sydney office, including supplies, maintenance, facilities, equipment, office presentation and general coordination.
- Act as the key contact for office related matters, including building management, suppliers, contractors and service providers.
- Support onboarding logistics, including workstations, equipment, access passes and office introductions.
- Coordinate meetings, visitors, office events, team lunches and internal communications.
- Provide administrative support to senior executives and business leaders.
- Maintain the HRMS, including employee records, files, employment documents, position information and reporting data.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, HR documentation, policy acknowledgements and employee correspondence.
- Assist with recruitment coordination, including interview scheduling, candidate communication and reference checks.
- Support leave, expense and employee self service administration.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits and compliance related administration.
- Liaise with HR and business stakeholders across Australia, the UK, Middle East and North America where required.
- Help maintain and improve office, HR and administration processes.
About You
You will be organised, practical and comfortable working across a broad range of responsibilities. You will be confident supporting senior stakeholders, handling confidential information and keeping processes running smoothly.
You will ideally bring:
- Experience in office management, HR administration, executive support, business administration or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a professional working style.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams and general business systems.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and follow tasks through to completion.
- Discretion when handling employee and business information.
- A hands-on and flexible approach.
- Experience using Employment Hero or working in renewable energy, infrastructure, construction, engineering or professional services would be advantageous, but is not essential.
