We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Support Officer to join our Corporate Services team, providing frontline ICT support across our organisation. You'll play an important role in helping staff stay connected and productive through reliable technology support.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-3 years' experience in IT support who is looking to grow their career, gain exposure to a diverse technology environment, and contribute to an organisation that makes a genuine difference in the community.
This position is offered as a 2-year fixed term contract with future employment opportunities possible.
About the Role
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will be the first point of contact for ICT support, helping staff resolve technology issues and ensuring systems and services continue to operate effectively.
You'll be responsible for:
- Providing first-level ICT support via phone, email and face-to-face channels.
- Logging, managing and resolving service requests and incidents.
- Assisting with the deployment and setup of laptops, mobile phones and other technology equipment.
- Supporting Microsoft 365 applications and business systems.
- Processing user account requests and access changes.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to knowledge-base documentation.
This role supports staff across CatholicCare's locations and includes regular travel throughout the Illawarra, Macarthur and surrounding regions to assist with onsite ICT support, technology deployments and project activities.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping others and building their technical skills.
You'll bring:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A genuine interest in technology and supporting people.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work within established processes.
- Experience in an ICT support, service desk or customer service environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and Windows devices.
- A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel between CatholicCare locations.
