Kuka Cares is seeking full time Disability Support Workers and Personal Care Assistants to work directly with our NDIS participants to help them live a more independant and fulfilling life.
The Role:
Personal Care Assistant:
· assisting participants with their personal care needs such as showering, dressing and eating;
· assisting participants with their mobility and communication needs;
· participating in planning the care of individuals;
· following care plans created by Registered Nurses, Physio, Occupational Therapist etc to assist participants with complex support needs, behavioural concern needs etc
· observe and report and changes in participants condition and report any complaints regarding the participants care;
· asssit with rehabilitation exercises, basic treatment and administering of medications;
· provide direct support and assistance to Registered Nurses and therapists
Disability Support Worker (Disabled Carer):
· support participants with their daily activities and personal care;
· assist participants with mobility;
· assist participants with meal preparation and feeding;
· arrange and accompany participants on social activities within the community;
· perform housekeeping and domestic tasks within the participants home;
· assist participants with personal hygience, showering and dressing;
· provide participants with companionship and emotional support;
Skills and Experience Required:
· Current First Air and Manual Handling Certificate;
· Drivers Licence;
· Certiificate III in Individual Supports or Minimum 1 Year Relevant Experience;
· NDIS Worker Screening Check;
· Current Working with Children Check

Annual Salary:
$80,000.00 per annum (38 hour working week) + Superannuation
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
