This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong organisational and administrative skills to contribute to our dynamic legal practice. As a Legal Secretary at Carbone Lawyers, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-level administrative support to lawyers and legal executives
- Preparing and processing legal documents and correspondence
- Managing and maintaining electronic and paper filing systems
- Arranging appointments, meetings
- Handling incoming calls and inquiries, as well as managing email correspondence
- Assisting with billing and financial administration tasks
- Conducting legal research and compiling data as required
- Coordinating court filings and document service requirements
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal procedures and regulations
- Supporting overall efficiency through effective administrative assistance
Skills and Experiences:
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Previous experience in a similar role within the legal sector is highly desirable. Preferably you will have the following:
- Proven experience as a legal secretary or similar role within a law firm
- Proficiency in using legal case management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent typing and transcription skills
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures, particularly in personal injury law
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
