About the Role
Are you a proactive and dynamic infrastructure or asset management professional passionate about public infrastructure, driving strategic reform, and creating lasting value for communities?
We are seeking a motivated Associate, Asset Management Assurance, to play a key role in strengthening asset management capability and supporting high quality decision making across the NSW Government’s $500 billion asset portfolio.
In this role you will support the development and delivery of strategic asset management initiatives that help government agencies plan, operate, and optimise the assets that serve our communities every day.
Some of the key accountabilities for the role include:
- Delivering evidence-based insights on the performance of the NSW Government asset portfolio to inform Cabinet and senior executive decision making.
- Support the adoption of good practice asset management across the NSW Government by providing advice, information, and guidance on asset management related matters to staff within NSW Government agencies.
- Supporting the delivery of asset management-related initiatives, including the design and development of government-wide policies, guidelines, and requirements.
- Coordinating and managing input into high quality independent advice on infrastructure and asset management matters. Lead and contribute to reports for a wide range of audiences.
About You
We are seeking an engineering, policy, infrastructure and/or asset management professional who has a genuine interest in long term planning and decision-making for the State’s large and diverse asset portfolio.
You will bring experience or tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as engineering, infrastructure, asset management, or government policy. In addition, you will have excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and accuracy. Strong organisational, written and presentation skills are required, as is proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite of tools.
