LEGO® Certified Stores is a fast-growing retail business operating across Australia and New Zealand. As we continue to expand our store network and enhance our customer experience, we are seeking an experienced IT Manager to take ownership of our technology environment and lead our IT function. This is a pivotal role combining strategic IT leadership with hands-on technical delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring our systems, infrastructure, and retail technology platforms are reliable, secure, and scalable, while also supporting day-to-day operational needs across stores and support office teams.
As IT Manager, you will oversee the full Information Technology environment across the business, acting as the key technology partner to leadership, operations, and retail teams.
You will manage both BAU IT support and longer-term technology strategy, including systems improvement, vendor management, and retail technology rollouts across new and existing stores.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a growing retail environment and enjoys balancing strategic ownership with practical, hands-on execution.
- Lead and manage the IT function across LEGO® Certified Stores Australia.
- Provide hands-on 1st and 2nd level support where required across stores and support office.
- Oversee Microsoft 365, identity and access management, and core business systems.
- Manage retail technology infrastructure including POS systems, hardware, networks, and connectivity.
- Lead new store openings, relocations, and technology implementations.
- Own IT security, compliance, and risk management practices.
- Manage external vendors, MSPs, and technology partners.
- Develop and maintain IT strategy, roadmaps, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and system governance.
- Partner with leadership to identify and deliver technology solutions that improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on systems and technology usage.
You are a confident IT leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced, retail-focused environment. You are equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up your sleeves to solve technical issues when needed. You take ownership, think commercially, and understand how technology directly supports store performance and customer experience.
- Proven experience in an IT Manager, IT Lead, or Senior IT Consultant role.
- Strong background in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and end-user support.
- Experience in retail technology environments (POS systems, store networks, multi-site support) highly regarded.
- Strong Microsoft 365, cloud, and identity management experience.
- Vendor and MSP management experience.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity and IT governance.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a growing business.
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications preferred.
