Working Hours
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 2:45pm to 6:00pm
- Plus, allocated non-contact time for administration tasks (3 hours a fortnight)

As an Educator at our St Josephs Uniting After School Care program, you'll be an important part of a team providing high-quality early childhood education and care. You'll:
- Build strong, positive relationships with children
- Support children's learning, development and wellbeing
- Partner with families and the local community
- Help deliver engaging educational programs based on approved learning frameworks
- Support continuous improvement across the service
Our programs are guided by Australia's approved learning frameworks:
- Belonging, Being & Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- My Time, Our Place: Framework for School Age Care
These frameworks support us in creating engaging environments where every child feels valued, confident and empowered to learn and grow.
The position is permanent part time. In addition to a base of $38.25 per hour + super, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits, which can be used for living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and much more.

- Working towards Diploma or Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Employee Working with Children Check / Working with Vulnerable Persons Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Prior experience working in a kindergarten and / or other early childhood service providing high-quality care and educational services for children.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development.
