Forklift Operator / Yardman
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator / Yardman to join our team based in Mulgrave, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business, develop your skills, and gain valuable experience in a foundry and manufacturing environment.
Location: Mulgrave NSW 2756
Hours: 38 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 2:00pm
Pay Rate: $32 – $34 per hour + Superannuation
Employment Type: Casual position with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts within the foundry yard
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders
- Assist with general production and yard duties as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current and valid Forklift Licence
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Ability to safely handle heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Appropriate PPE and a strong safety mindset
- A hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
