About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organised reception & administration officer to support our customer service and general administrative functions. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a busy environment, has a can-do attitude, can multitask effectively, and takes pride in accuracy and service.
Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Flexible)
- Friday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Key responsibilities
Reception and customer service:
- Answer incoming phone calls and handle customer walk-in enquiries
- Respond to customer and sales representative enquiries via phone and email
- Monitor and action incoming email and documentation
Order processing & data entry:
- Enter customer orders received via phone and email
- Generate customer invoices from picking slips
- Work with excel spreadsheets to produce documents for office and warehouse processing
- Print labels for customer orders
Accounts support & administration:
- Receipt customer payments
- Manage cash tin and petty cash transactions
- Maintain filing systems (electronic & paper-based)
- Maintain office stationery supplies
- Provide general administrative support to office and sales staff
About you
- Experience in administration, customer service, or data entry roles
- Confident phone manner and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and handling high-volume tasks
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Able to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Fishbowl, SalesIn, or QuickBooks is an advantage but not essential
