Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Friendly, professional, and confident phone manner
- Any experience working in accounts would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Intermediate computer proficiency, including the use of databases, online portals, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas and functions
- Efficient multitasking, accurate data entry, and strong administrative skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of empathy, attention to detail, and commitment to quality work
- Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Experience in insurance, restoration, or a related industry (highly regarded but not essential)
- Must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Triaging new claims and completing initial make-safe assessments
- Liaise with claimants, repairers, insurers, loss adjusters, external claims administrators, contents assessors and third parties
- Coordinate with Operations teams to ensure assessment reports are accurate and complete
- Coordinating End-To- End Claims
- Enter and update claims information in online insurance portals
- Provide professional, timely communication to all stakeholders
- Monitor workloads and ensure KPI targets are achieved
- Work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a supportive team
