About the Role:
As the Administrative Officer (AAEP), you will contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing timely and professional support to the Principal and Business Manager. Working within established guidelines and procedures, you will resolve routine matters independently and consult with the Principal or Business Manager on more complex or non-routine issues.
This position is based at the Student Counter at Ormeau Woods State High School and utilises ID Attend. It includes managing the school's sick bay, processing student arrivals and departures, and coordinating the school's large-volume printing requests, along with providing a range of general administrative and customer service support to students, staff and families.
I.D Attend knowledge preferred. Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certificates.
Responsibilities:
Student Management:
Entering rolls (absent teachers).
Student enrolments.
Filing of student information.
Late notes.
First Aid.
Communicating with parents so that they are aware of and understand school policies and processes.
Enrolment forms and contact details are appropriately completed and up to date.
Data entry in OneSchool regarding contacts with parents and home visits.
Communicate relevant info to staff - whole staff meetings.
