Join a Fast-Growing UK Cloud Hosting Business Expanding into Australia
Hyve Managed Hosting is expanding into Australia — and we’re looking for a Cloud Sales Consultant to be one of the first key hires in our Sydney team.
This is a rare opportunity to join an established UK cloud hosting provider at the ground level of its Australian growth. You’ll play a hands-on role in building the local customer base, shaping our presence, and driving real commercial impact from day one.
We deliver high-performance managed hosting, private cloud, and enterprise infrastructure solutions for organisations that value uptime, responsiveness, and expert support.
This is a consultative sales role — ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, understanding customer environments, and solving real infrastructure and cloud challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business through outreach, networking, LinkedIn, and email campaigns
- Manage inbound leads and develop opportunities end-to-end generated form our website and global marketing team.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Run discovery conversations with IT leaders, business owners, and technical teams
- Work with engineers to design tailored cloud and hosting solutions
- Lead proposals, RFQs, RFPs, and customer presentations
- Develop long-term client relationships across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise accounts
- Represent Hyve in the Australian market and help shape our growth
About You
You’re commercially sharp, technically curious, and confident working with both business and IT stakeholders.
You likely have experience in:
- Cloud sales
- MSP / managed hosting
- IT or infrastructure sales
- Telecoms or enterprise technology sales
You’re someone who:
- Thrives in consultative, relationship-led sales
- Can uncover real customer pain points quickly
- Is self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a growing business
- Communicates clearly and builds trust easily
- Enjoys a mix of new business development and solution selling
What You Bring
- Strong understanding of cloud, hosting, or infrastructure services
- Proven ability to generate and close new business
- Experience managing a sales pipeline from prospect to close
- Confident presenting solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong proposal writing and communication skills
- Experience with RFQ / RFP responses (desirable)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
