The IT Manager is a senior technical position responsible for the day-to-day leadership of OVICs ICT infrastructure and operations.

Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Commissioners and the Information Commissioner, the role combines hands-on technical expertise with project leadership, providing ongoing senior technical support, mentoring and advice across the ICT functions, contributing to OVIC's broader technology strategy, governance and continuous improvement.
At the VPS Grade 5 level, the role operates with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to exercise excellent technical judgement, manage competing priorities and represent OVIC in dealings with the external stakeholders and and other technology partners (Industry and/or government).
