Sonnys Fried Chicken and burgers is looking for a chef to complement our existing team. The application will have a strong understanding of American cuisine through ether traveling through American or a number of years cooking in a similar kitchen. 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role is critical.

- Key Duties:
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Assisting with menu planning and development
- Managing food preparation and kitchen operations
- Monitoring stock and ordering supplies
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Assisting with training and supervising kitchen staff
- Requirements:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Relevant commercial kitchen experience
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
We are located in Carlton and successful applicants will have fixed availability to work on evenings and weekends.
Salary: 75K - 80K (Depending on experience) plus Super
Pay: $75,000.00 per year
