Warehouse & Installation Assistant

Casual Position | Approx. 30 Hours Per Week
We are seeking a reliable, physically capable and motivated Warehouse & Installation Assistant to support our growing operations across warehouse, transport and onsite installation projects throughout Melbourne.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, variety in their day, and working within a fast-paced operational environment.
The role involves a combination of warehouse support, furniture handling, logistics assistance and onsite installation work across residential and commercial projects.
About the Role
Your responsibilities may include:
- Loading and unloading furniture, décor and equipment
- Warehouse organisation and stock movement
- Assisting with onsite installations and property setups
- Basic furniture assembly and placement
- Packing, wrapping and preparation of items for transport
- Assisting drivers and project leads onsite
- General labouring and operational support
- Rubbish removal and excess packaging disposal
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of warehouse and vehicles
- Assisting with deliveries, collections and transport preparation
No two days are exactly the same, so flexibility and a positive attitude are important.
Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Approx. 30 hours per week
- Standard shifts of approximately 6 hours per day
- Based from Laverton, VIC
Due to the nature of installation and logistics work, daily hours may reasonably vary depending on project schedules and operational requirements. Longer operational days may be balanced by shorter shifts on other days within the same working week where appropriate.
Occasional weekend work may be available during busy periods.
Employment Structure
This position will commence as a casual role for an initial 6-month period.
The purpose of this arrangement is to allow both parties to establish a clear understanding of operational workflow, scheduling requirements and suitability within the role as the business continues to grow.
Following the initial period, the role and hours may be reviewed with consideration toward a more permanent employment structure if appropriate.

- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently onsite
- Organised and respectful of equipment and workspaces
- Driver’s licence and vehicle essential
- White Card advantageous but not essential
- Previous warehouse, labouring, removals, delivery or installation experience highly regarded
