MTA Earthmoving is looking for an experienced D7 operator who enjoys remote life, takes pride in a tidy finish and has the drive to get the job done properly.
We’re a locally owned Territory business building something good, and we’re after someone keen to be part of it.
There’s plenty to like:
An office with a view. Big skies, Territory sunrises and remote country that most people only see in photos.
Work you can look back on. Dams, station tracks, firebreaks, drainage and earthworks that make a real difference on the ground.
Room to get on with it. Bring your experience and initiative. We value someone who can plan their day, solve problems and take ownership of their work.
Remote work, with the arrangements sorted. Accommodation and project logistics arranged by MTA.
A chance to grow with us. Join a small business where your contribution matters and you work directly with the owners.
You’ll fit right in if you:
- Have solid experience on D6–D8 class dozers and know your way around levels, grades and a good finish.
- Are a driven self-starter who thinks ahead and works safely without constant supervision.
- Look after your machine and pick up on little problems before they become big ones.
- Communicate well with clients and the crew.
- Enjoy the bush and are comfortable working away on remote project swings.
- Hold a current manual driver’s licence.
This is an EOI for 2027 commencement, based in the Top End with travel throughout the NT. Swings and working arrangements depend on the project.
