Wedding Flowers Consultant
Sales and Client Experience
Nonie’s Floristry is looking for a friendly, organised and confident Wedding Flowers Consultant to assist with wedding enquiries and prepare client quotes.
This is a six month independent contractor role, with the potential to extend based on performance and business needs. The role is primarily work from home and all client communication is conducted by phone, email and text.
Hours
Tuesday: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Wednesday: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
This many vary and we are flexible.
Contractor Rate
$25 per hour + 2% commission on sales.
The successful applicant will be engaged as an independent contractor and will be responsible for managing their own tax, superannuation and contractor obligations.
About the Role
Most clients will have already provided their wedding details through our online enquiry form, including their wedding date, venue, colour palette, estimated requirements and budget.
Your role will be to review the information provided, contact the client by phone to verify and confirm their details, recommend suitable items where required and prepare an itemised quote using our existing templates.
Key Responsibilities
- Review wedding enquiries submitted through our online form
- Call prospective clients to verify and confirm their wedding details
- Ask any additional questions needed to prepare an accurate quote
- Discuss floral options, styling items and suitable recommendations
- Prepare and send itemised quotes using our templates
- Respond to client questions by phone, email and text
- Follow up on quotes and assist with converting enquiries into bookings
- Update quotes when clients request changes
- Maintain clear and accurate client records
- Communicate important client details to the Head Florist and business owner
- Provide clients with a warm, professional and helpful experience
Preferred Experience
The ideal applicant:
- Is a florist, has studied floristry or is currently studying floristry
- Has an understanding of wedding flowers, floral arrangements and event styling
- Has experience in sales, customer service, weddings or events
- Is confident speaking with clients over the phone
- Has strong written communication skills
- Is organised and has excellent attention to detail
- Can work independently and consistently follow up with clients
- Is comfortable using email, spreadsheets, online forms and quote templates
- Has access to a reliable computer, phone and internet connection
