About the Role
Due to our continued growth and an exciting period of transformation, we are seeking a Portfolio Resource & Capacity Manager to play a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of our transformation portfolio within our Digital & Technology division.
Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management, this highly visible role sits at the heart of portfolio delivery, ensuring the right people, capabilities, and support services are in place to bring our strategic priorities to life. You'll provide forward-looking insights on resource supply and demand, capacity constraints, and deployment decisions, helping leaders make informed decisions and maximise delivery outcomes across a diverse portfolio of initiatives.
In addition to leading portfolio-wide resource and capacity planning, you'll lead and coach a small team responsible for Project Central support services, portfolio tools support, and governance administration, driving operational excellence and ensuring teams have the support they need to succeed. You'll also champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen governance, and optimise the way we plan and deliver transformational change.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
-
Developing and maintaining a portfolio-wide view of resource demand, supply, capacity risks and constraints across programs and projects.
-
Coordinating portfolio operational processes such as timesheet compliance, cost recovery support, purchase order creation and release, and related controls.
-
Providing trusted advice to portfolio leaders and delivery teams on resource availability, bottlenecks, governance readiness and operational improvements.
This role is based at our Brisbane Support Office in Strathpine, operating in a hybrid work environment.

-
Experience leading or coordinating operational support services for project or program teams.

Experience leading, coaching, or coordinating team members and managing service delivery performance.
-
Strong analytical and planning skills, with the ability to translate data into practical recommendations.
-
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively across leaders, delivery teams, and support functions.
Desirable but not essential:
-
Relevant certification in project management, PMO, portfolio management, or change delivery (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, or similar).
