Property Copywriter & Admin Support (Contractor)
Copy By Caitlin is looking for a Property Copywriter & Administrator to support premium residential real estate agencies across Melbourne as our team expands!
This is a flexible contractor role making it ideal for an experienced freelance copywriter seeking consistent work with autonomy and flexibility.
FYI: (This is not a role that can rely solely on ChatGPT / Claude. It requires genuine writing & grammatical skills, as well as TOV adaptability to produce a premium calibre of writing in a niche format, beyond simply listing the features of a home).
About the Role
Property Copywriter
You'll attend residential property inspections (prior to sales campaign launch) across Melbourne's inner-east, bayside and sometimes northern suburbs, and write high-quality property descriptions that make up the marketing collateral, including:
- Internet listing copy
- Signboard copy
- Brochure copy
- Print ad copy
You'll be responsible for accurately representing each home's unique lifestyle offering, and submitting the copy within a 24h turn-around time, post-inspection.
Administration Support
You will manage the day-to-day coordination of property copy bookings for CBC, including:
- Receiving copy orders via email and replying within a 4h window
- Liaising with agents and campaign coordinators to schedule inspections & confirm access details (key safe, meeting agent onsite)
- Liaising with agents and campaign coordinators on the provision of photos and floorplans for remote copy orders
- Managing and updating bookings in Asana
- Clear, timely communication with both client (agency) staff and vendors directly
- Coordinating deadlines, and copy revisions as needed
About You
- A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Previous experience working within the real estate industry is preferable
- Professional copywriting experience (property copywriting highly regarded)
- Excellent written communication, grammatical and spelling skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Punctual and able to stick to timelines and deadlines
- Strong administration skills and highly organised
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills IRL!
- A professional, friendly and well-presented demeanor
You'll regularly interact with agents, campaign coordinators, photographers, floor planners and homeowners, so professionalism, punctuality and communication skills are essential.
Remuneration
Payment will be on a per property basis for admin booking and delivery of copy - $150.00 exc. GST per property, including revisions. (Contractor must be registered with an ACN/ABN).
Availability
This role requires Monday to Friday availability during business hours (9am - 5pm).
Work volume varies seasonally and week-to-week, making it best suited to freelancers or contractors seeking flexible work rather than a fixed part-time arrangement on particular days.
