The Opportunity
We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hands to join the talented kitchen team at Hellenika.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a fast-paced team and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.
Your Role
As a Kitchen Hand, you’ll play an important role in supporting the chefs and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly throughout preparation and service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Washing dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment
Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
Keeping washing and storage areas clean and well organised
Assisting with basic food preparation when required
Ensuring equipment and supplies are available during service
Supporting the chefs and wider kitchen team during busy services
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
Removing waste and maintaining clean back-of-house areas
Completing cleaning duties efficiently and to a high standard
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
A strong work ethic and willingness to assist the team
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
Excellent reliability and punctuality
A positive, professional and team-focused approach
Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene and organisation
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
