CATERING COORDINATOR
Remuneration: Base plus commission on sales
Position: Catering Coordinator
Reports to: Owner
Location: Tillage Pizza, Belmont
POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for coordinating and delivering Tillage Pizza’s catering operations, from initial enquiry through to event completion. The role combines customer service, administration, planning and hands-on catering support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prospect for new catering business and build sales across three channels 1. functions at our Belmont venue 2. Pre-booked corporate/private catering for delivery 3. onsite private/corporate catering.
- Respond to catering enquiries and prepare quotes and proposals.
- Coordinate catering bookings, menus, dietary requirements and event details.
- Communicate with customers before, during and after events.
- Coordinate catering preparation, packing, transport and setup.
- Liaise with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure catering requirements are understood and delivered.
- Maintain accurate catering schedules, orders and customer information.
- Assist with developing and promoting Tillage Pizza’s catering offering.
- Support on-site catering events where required.
- Ensure catering presentation and service meets Tillage Pizza standards.
- Identify opportunities to increase catering sales and repeat business.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Hospitality, events or catering experience preferred.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver’s licence required.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
