As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you’ll:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality swimming lessons across all levels
- Promote water safety and build student confidence in the water
- Provide positive reinforcement to students and parents
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Ensure safety and wellbeing in every class
- Uphold Austswim, Swim Australia, and Royal Life standards
Candidates available to work shifts from 9am to 12pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12pm Saturday 6 hours per week is desirable.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about swim teaching (just like us!):
- A current Working with Children Check
- Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or Swim Australia Teacher or RLS Swim Teacher Licence
- A current CPR Certificate
- A genuine passion for teaching and water safety
- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Package: Salaries from $60,887 (full time equivalent) gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation (salary paid pro-rata to part time hours worked). Weekend penalty rates are paid as applicable.
- Hours of work: Permanent Part-time opportunities available, from 6 hours per week (school terms), with opportunity to flex up additional hours as required. Candidates must be available as rostered over a 7-day spread at various Leisure Centres (including Sutherland, Caringbah and Engadine Centre locations).
