Job Title: People and Culture Officer
Location: Remote / Australian-Based
Employment Type: Part-Time (Flexible)
Hourly Rate: AUD $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
We are seeking a motivated and organized People and Culture Officer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources while gaining hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews for prospective employees.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new staff members.
- Manage employee offboarding procedures, including exit documentation.
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation such as:
- Employment contracts
- Warning letters
- Termination letters
- Disciplinary action notices
- Other employee-related documents
- Maintain accurate employee records and confidential files.
- Assist managers with HR-related administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support recruitment and staffing activities as required.
· Prepare HR related policies and procedures
· Assist Manager for Roster-related requests & follow up staff for any further Updates
· Conduct staff induction and training
· Verify employee reference Checks
· Conduct various checking processes to make sure HR compliance is UpToDate for Audit requirements
· Assist compliance team for Audit requirements
- Other ad hoc tasks time to time as requested by Manager
Qualifications
- Previous HR experience is an advantage but not required.
- Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
