About the Role
Core Studios is seeking an experienced Video Producer to join our team in Varsity Lakes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating films, television programs, video productions, and commercials by filming, adding sound, and editing content in digital and/or analogue format.
Key Duties
- Conferring with clients or management to determine production requirements, budget, and timelines
- Planning, scripting, and coordinating video and film productions
- Filming, recording, and directing footage across various formats and locations
- Editing raw footage into finished video productions, incorporating sound, graphics, and effects
- Liaising with directors, editors, technical staff, and other production personnel
- Managing production schedules, resources, and crew
- Ensuring final productions meet client briefs and quality standards
Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrate at least 1 year experience in video production, filming, and editing or a closely related role
- Strong technical knowledge of production and editing software/equipment
- Ability to manage multiple productions and coordinate production teams
- Strong communication and creative problem-solving skills
- A relevant qualification in film, media, or video production is highly regarded but not essential; equivalent industry experience will be considered
- A showreel or portfolio demonstrating previous work is required
