About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our team. The successful applicant will assist the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, washing dishes and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans
- Keep kitchen, preparation areas and equipment clean and sanitised
- Assist with receiving, storing and organising food supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, benches, fridges and storage areas
- Dispose of rubbish and maintain appropriate waste procedures
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
- Assist with basic kitchen duties as required
- Work efficiently during busy periods
- Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
About You
The ideal candidate will:

- Have good communication skills
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Have good attention to cleanliness and hygiene
- Be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
