Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our Engineering Construction division, supporting the delivery of a major port infrastructure upgrade project in Western Australia.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, this is a key site leadership role responsible for overseeing all Electrical construction activities associated with the installation of a new car dumper, additional conveyors and supporting port infrastructure within an operating, brownfield port environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise and mentor Electrical supervisors, tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient project delivery

Plan, schedule and coordinate electrical works for car dumper, conveyor and transfer station installation, managing isolations and permits within a live operating facility

Provide technical leadership across HV/LV installation, cabling, terminations, motor control and instrumentation

Monitor schedule, cost and quality, proactively identifying and mitigating risk

Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE and electrical safety requirements

Coordinate labour, materials, plant and subcontractors within a constrained brownfield site

Liaise with client, principal contractor and OEM representatives to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement

Work collaboratively with Civil, Mechanical/Structural and Commissioning teams for integrated delivery
What you’ll bring:

Electrical trade qualification (Electrician's Licence) or related discipline

Extensive Superintendent experience on large-scale mining, materials handling, port or resources infrastructure projects

Demonstrated experience delivering electrical installation in brownfield, operational site environments

Strong knowledge of HV/LV installation, testing/commissioning and construction sequencing in live facilities

Experience with conveyors and/or car dumper infrastructure highly regarded
-
Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary site teams and subcontractors, ideally with Tier 1/2 contractors or EPCM delivery

Strong safety leadership and stakeholder engagement skills

Valid Australian Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights
