About the role
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Mobile Physiotherapist to join our growing team. You will deliver evidence based, goal directed physiotherapy services to a diverse caseload across the lifespan, supporting NDIS participants to achieve their goals within a flexible, community based environment. This role involves travelling to participants' homes and community settings to provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence based physiotherapy interventions aligned with participants' NDIS goals.
- Develop and implement rehabilitation, mobility, strength, balance, and pain management programs.
- Prescribe and recommend mobility aids, exercise programs, and equipment where appropriate.
- Prepare high quality reports including functional assessments, progress reports, and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with participants, families, support coordinators, general practitioners, and allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NDIS practice standards.
- Travel to participants' homes and community locations to provide mobile physiotherapy services.
About you
- Degree qualified Physiotherapist with current, unconditional AHPRA registration.
- Experience in the NDIS, community health, aged care, or rehabilitation setting. New graduates with relevant placement experience are welcome.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse groups.
- Self motivated and able to manage a community based caseload independently.
- Committed to person centred, culturally responsive practice.
Requirements
- Current and unconditional AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist, essential.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency, required for contractor engagement.
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community visits.
- National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
