Join a Specialist Support Coordination Provider
LUMI Support Coordination is a trusted NDIS support coordination provider working with participants across Australia, with our main office based in Heidelberg, Melbourne. We specialise in complex casework, housing and transition pathways, and participant advocacy, supporting people navigating hospital discharge, SDA and SIL transitions, housing instability and complex clinical needs, alongside families, allied health professionals and the NDIA, to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
As our organisation continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality & Compliance Officer to lead and strengthen our quality, governance and compliance systems.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our quality and compliance framework, ensuring LUMI continues to deliver safe, high-quality support coordination and remains compliant with the NDIS Practice Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incident, complaints and continuous improvement systems.
- Coordinate internal audits and lead external audit preparation.
- Review and maintain policies, procedures, controlled documents and registers.
- Monitor compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards and relevant legislation.
- Support reportable incident management and safeguarding obligations.
- Oversee case note and documentation quality across the coordination team.
- Develop and deliver staff compliance training and competency programs.
- Monitor corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports and provide advice to management on quality and risk matters.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and best practice.
About You
Essential
- Experience in quality, compliance or governance within disability, health or community services.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and influence positive change.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain), Working with Children Check and current police check.
Desirable
- Experience with NDIS audits (verification or certification).
- Knowledge of incident management, complaints and safeguarding requirements.
- Familiarity with support coordination service delivery and documentation standards.
- Qualifications in Quality, Community Services, Health, Nursing, Business or a related field.- Experience working with complex supports, housing or transition pathways.
