About the role:
If successfuk, you will provide effective and high-quality administration support to internal stakeholders. Working closely with the Coordinators in the Education Performance Unit, this position contributes to the smooth functioning of the Education Performance Unit and supports compliance and quality assurance activities.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
Minimum of Certificate III in Business Administration or similar field; and/or At least 1 years’ experience in an administration role
Demonstrated ability to provide administrative support in a funded/contracted setting, including the ability to communicate with a range of people (for example, CALD communities and difficult clients)
Demonstrated knowledge of various administrative functions in Education programs including SEE, Skills First, AMEP and ACFE
Proficient in Student Management Systems, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
Demonstrated ability in using online platforms to support clients and client data reporting
Ability to work with datasets and maintain data integrity
Accuracy and attention to detail in data processing and recordkeeping
Ability to generate regular reports, undertake basic analysis of results and make simple recommendations to management to highlight concerning changes
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem solve and take the extra mile to engage clients
Experience working with client management systems and/or government reporting systems (ARMS, Workforce Australia, SVTS, inputting and extracting data
Possess strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to effectively prioritise tasks from multiple stakeholders
Exposure to financial processes, payments and/or petty cash management
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a busy environment
Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills, including Some editing skills
Ability to maintain manual and electronic records
Demonstrated attention to detail
