About the role
Reporting to the Manager HR Business Partnering, the Senior HR Business Partner is a trusted advisor who partners with leaders across Parks Victoria to deliver strategic and operational people outcomes. The role provides expert generalist HR advice and support across workforce planning, organisational capability, employee relations, performance management and change initiatives. Working closely with business leaders, you'll contribute to the development and implementation of people strategies that align with operational and organisational objectives. You'll manage employee matters, coach and support leaders, coordinate HR projects and initiatives, and help ensure the consistent application of policies, procedures, enterprise agreement provisions and public sector employment obligations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, solving complex people challenges and contributing to a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational HR advice to leaders across designated business areas.
- Manage employee relations matters.
- Deliver HR projects, engagement activities, learning and development initiatives and organisational change programs.
- Build strong relationships with leaders, employees and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Coach and support leaders to build capability and achieve positive people outcomes.
- Support workforce planning, organisational capability and talent management initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, governance requirements and organisational standards.

About You:
You are a collaborative and experienced HR professional who enjoys building trusted relationships and working in partnership with leaders to deliver positive workforce outcomes. You bring strong judgement, a solutions-focused mindset and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational support. You will bring:
- Strong knowledge of human resource management, employment legislation and HR policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in HR advisory, employee relations and workforce planning.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (desirable).
