About the role
iSEAO is seeking a full-time Developer Programmer with 1-3 years' experience to build, test, and validate components of iExpert, our AI model used across real insurance workflows. Working from technical specifications and designs from the team, you'll interpret requirements, write and maintain code, and test and document your work. You will touch base with the team and lead product developer regularly to provide updates on progress and agree on the best way forward. - Location: Chippendale, Sydney (this role is not available remotely)
- Salary: $80,000-$90,000 (dependent on experience)
This role will suit you if:
- You're driven to build a career in cutting-edge AI and have experience developing software for data-centric problems
- You enjoy solving technical problems and writing clean, well-tested code
- You work well both independently and collaboratively within a team
- You have strong technical and analytical skills
- You're proficient in Python and quick to pick up new tools and languages
- Experience with Excel (pivots, VLOOKUP, etc.) is preferred
- (Bonus) Interest in insurance, finance, risk, or regulated workflows
