Core Responsibilities:
Design and develop audio signal processing algorithms for hearing devices. Implement features such as: Noise reduction Beamforming Feedback cancellation Automatic gain control (AGC) Speech enhancement Prototype algorithms using: MATLAB / Simulink Python
Implement real-time DSP firmware in: C / C++ Assembly language Optimize algorithms for: Low power consumption Real-time performance Embedded DSP hardware Test, validate, and debug DSP systems. Collaborate with: Firmware engineers Hardware engineers Audiologists Research teams
Required Skills:
Common technical requirements include: Strong knowledge of: Digital Signal Processing Audio/Speech Processing Filters, FFT, adaptive algorithms Programming: C/C++ MATLAB Python Embedded systems experience Understanding of: DSP architectures Real-time systems Multi-core processors Familiarity with: Firmware development Audio codecs Hearing aid/cochlear technologies Educational.
