The Opportunity
The Clinical Skills Laboratory Assistant provides essential practical support to the Faculty of Health and Community. The role is responsible for coordinating the ordering and supply of workshop consumables, maintaining and organising storage areas, and ensuring timely provision of resources to the skills laboratory. Key responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads efficiently, maintain accurate systems, and support the timely storage, maintenance and re-stocking of goods.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Relevant industry equipment knowledge, sound Microsoft Office skills, and the initiative to work effectively under limited supervision to produce high-quality outcomes.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
