About the role
Fixed term temporary part-time opportunity to work as part of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology multidisciplinary team, you will utilise your clinical expertise to provide compassionate, patient-centred care, supported by a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist, midwifery and administrative staff. This position also offers excellent training, development, and learning opportunities within a supportive and collaborative environment.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Care for patients with early pregnancy complications such as threatened miscarriage, miscarriage, and ectopic pregnancy.
Arrange management in accordance with the best interests of the patient and their family
Contribute positively to the multidisciplinary team, treating all hospital staff and professional colleagues with courtesy and respect.
Formulating a diagnosis based on investigation results with reference to the Qld Maternity Statewide Guidelines for Early Pregnancy Loss and Termination of Pregnancy.
