An exciting opportunity for and experienced and proactive scrub scout who specialises in Urology that is ready to take the next step in their career.
The Clinical Nurse – Urology role is an advanced level Registered Nurse who acts as a clinical and professional resource in all facets of caring for the patient whilst problem solving within the clinical setting. The Clinical Nurse contributes to, and participates in, the education of all graduates and novice staff by being involved in department orientation, in-service and clinical programs.
In this role you will report to and work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to achieve organisational goals.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience within Theatre as a Scrub Scout Nurse. While leadership or management experience within a clinical setting will be highly desirable, this role will also suit an experienced Nurse looking to step up.
You will be a passionate mentor to your team and will bring a high standard of team work, communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support the delivery of care to patients within the ward. You will be passionate about quality patient outcomes and have a strong clinical problem skillset.

About You
You will bring exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

Minimum 5 years' scrub scout experience
-
Must have urology/robotic experience

A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance

Clinical leadership experience is desirable but not essential

Remuneration: On offer for this role is a base hourly rate of $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*QLD RN/Midwife Level 2.1 - Level 2.4*)
