Large Loss Supervisor to join our team.
In this role, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex, high-value residential and commercial insurance building projects from initial assessment through to completion. Working closely with insurers, loss adjusters, subcontractors, suppliers and clients, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, within scope and budget, while maintaining the high standards of quality and customer service that Makesafe Builders is known for.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of large and complex insurance building projects from initial assessment through to completion.
- Conduct site inspections, review scopes of work and coordinate demolition, structural works and all relevant trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, costs, variations and timelines, identifying and resolving risks, delays and project issues as they arise.
- Act as the key point of contact for insurers, loss adjusters, claims managers, policyholders and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations throughout the project.
- Review and approve quotations, purchase orders, invoices and subcontractor claims, ensuring works are completed within approved budgets wherever possible.
- Ensure all works comply with approved scopes, contracts, WHS requirements, relevant building regulations and company policies, maintaining all required documentation and records.
- Prepare project reports, maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes for managing large and complex insurance losses.

- Construction / Building Trade Qualification or relevant experience
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, including a professional phone manner
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Relationship building skills
- Highly computer literate including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Can-do & positive attitude
- Willingness to learn & start from the ground up in a fast-moving organisation & team
- Prior experience as a Supervisor is desirable but not essential
- Valid Australian driver licence
