This is a part time position. 3 days a week, 8 hour days. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday varied hours between 7:30am- 6:30pm.
Pay increases with increased duties and workload Practice Manager rates $45>
Duties Include:
· Scheduling, organising and confirming patient appointments.
· Greeting patients, providing support and processing payments.
· Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and other correspondence.
· Ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
· Communicate with referring practioners
The suitable candidate will have:
· Experience in medical or dental reception or admin experience
· Experience with Halaxy with MS Office desired.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanour.
· Impeccable organisational skills, with a great deal of attention to detail.
· Technology skills - proficiency with technology (including Microsoft Office) and ability to use technology to drive efficiencies and customer experience.
· Flexible with hours of work with hands on and ‘can do’ attitude.
Progression duties to Assistant Practice Manager / Practice Manager
· Provide overall daily supervision and leadership
· Ongoing monitoring, training and managing staff performance
· Provide ongoing planning, co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation the practice, it’s services, staff and processes including driving and managing change
· Ensure the organisations’ processes and procedures are maintained at a high standard
· Communicate effectively with the associates in relation to issues pertaining to the practice and support achievement of overall goals/objectives
· Oversee patient appointment scheduling and communication with patients and external health professionals including management and co-ordination of patient and third-party billings
· Manage general office maintenance ensuring office machines, practice rooms and reception are maintained to a satisfactory standard including cleaning, safety, and security
· Evaluate and monitor practice income, expenditure and cash flow
· Nurture and develop strong relationships with practitioners, patients and healthcare professionals.
