We are seeking a reliable, self motivated and hands-on experienced Store Manager to join our busy superstore at Mt Barker.
This role is ideal for an all-rounder who enjoys sales, can manage the office as well as being capable of light physical work, managing the stock yard and being part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is proactive rather than just reactive.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer service and sales
- Dealing with retail and trade customers
- General office management
- Processing of sales and orders
- Coordination of transport for deliveries
- Ability to manage stock, forklift operation, lifting items and general product handling making up customer orders.
- Ability to be hands-on in and around the office and managing the stockyard
- Computer and software management.

About You
- Previous sales experience required
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Honest and trustworthy with police clearance
- Capable of working on your own and in a team environment
- Maintain a clean, well presented and fully stocked yard
- Good communication skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Neat and tidy
- Competent in the use of computers with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Available to work weekends is essential for this role
