Food & Beverage Attendant to join our Support Services team at our South Brisbane Head Office.
About the Role
As the Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be the face of our office hospitality services, providing exceptional coffee, beverage, and kitchen support to employees, clients, and visitors.
This is a hands-on role that combines high-quality barista services, stock management, kitchen presentation, and hospitality support to help create a welcoming and professional office environment.
Based in our modern South Brisbane office, you will play an important role in delivering a positive workplace experience for our team and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Barista Services
- Deliver high-quality coffee and beverage service using commercial coffee equipment.
- Prepare coffees for staff, visitors, clients, and stakeholders.
- Set up and clean coffee machines and associated equipment daily.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming hospitality experience.
Stock Management & Ordering
- Manage stock levels of coffee beans, milk, fruit, beverages, and kitchen consumables.
- Coordinate orders with approved suppliers.
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain inventory levels.
- Ensure all kitchen and hospitality supplies are organised and readily available.
Kitchen & Hospitality Support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
- Restock refrigerators, tea and coffee stations, snacks, and refreshments throughout the day.
- Ensure kitchen benches, tables, and common areas remain presentable.
- Support internal meetings and office events with catering and refreshment preparation.
Team Support
- Work collaboratively with Reception and the wider Business Support team.
- Assist with meeting room presentation and general office support as required.
- Contribute to a positive, friendly, and professional workplace culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Essential
- Previous experience as a Barista.
- Experience operating commercial coffee machines.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Professional presentation and interpersonal skills.
Highly Regarded
- Experience in hospitality, corporate services, or office support environments.
- Experience managing stock and supplier orders.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
