For a motivated professional who can successfully manage projects from contract award through to completion while delivering high-quality outcomes, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from contract award through to completion, coordinating project activities and ensuring project objectives, budgets and timeframes are achieved.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel, monitoring performance and ensuring project deliverables meet contractual, quality and safety requirements.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, resource allocations and work programs to support the efficient delivery of multiple projects.
- Prepare project estimates, budgets and cost forecasts, monitor expenditure, and report on project financial performance.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve project issues, respond to enquiries and achieve project milestones.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, verify quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant regulations.
- Manage procurement activities, project logistics, contract administration and project variations while maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Lead and support site teams by coordinating daily project activities, allocating resources and promoting effective communication throughout project delivery.
- Identify project risks and implement practical solutions to minimise delays, cost overruns and quality issues.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in project management and estimating within the civil construction and/or commercial concreting industry.
- Previous relevant experience working in Australia.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, estimating, project planning and cost control.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build positive relationships across clients, subcontractors and project teams.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
