EstateX Home is a Sydney based renovation and commercial fitout company. We're looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive quotes across residential renovation and commercial fitout projects, working closely with our sales team, project management, and subcontracted trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Review plans, site photos, and client briefs to prepare detailed cost estimates for renovation and fitout projects
- Liaise with suppliers and trades to source accurate and current pricing
- Prepare itemised quotes covering materials, labour, and margins in line with company standards
- Work with the sales team to turn around quotes quickly to support deal closing timelines
- Identify scope risks or gaps before quotes are issued to clients
- Maintain a library of standard rates and historical job costings to improve future estimating accuracy
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience estimating residential renovation and/or commercial fitout projects
- Strong understanding of building materials, trade pricing, and construction methods
- Confident using estimating software and spreadsheets
- High attention to detail and comfort working to deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Clear communicator, able to work closely with sales, trades, and management
- Construction, quantity surveying, or building qualification highly regarded
Pay: $68,817.14 – $137,317.00 per year
