Job Overview
The Channel Sales Manager is a senior sales role accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets across an assigned portfolio of dealers. The role works closely with dealers to drive new business acquisition, fleet additions, and upsell opportunities within existing accounts, while providing hands‑on sales leadership, coaching, and mentoring to dealer teams. Success requires strong commercial judgement, the ability to influence dealers at all levels, and a result-driven approach to building high‑performing channel relationships.
Responsibilities

Own sales performance across assigned dealers, achieving and exceeding sales growth targets

Drive new business acquisition through the channel, plus a focus on fleet additions and upsell

Deliver timely and accurate sales forecasting and weekly activity tracking

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within Salesforce CRM

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Solutions, Product, Customer Success, and Support teams

Navigate internal systems and global processes effectively to deliver optimal outcomes

Provide hands‑on sales leadership, coaching, and mentoring to dealer sales teams

Actively manage dealer performance through reviews, pipeline management, and joint business planning

Represent Teletrac Navman at industry events, partner forums, and customer engagements

Maintain strong knowledge of the full Teletrac Navman product portfolio, including new releases and competitive positioning
Required Skills / Qualifications / Certifications / Tech Stack
Essential
-
Minimum 7 years’ proven sales experience with a strong record of meeting or exceeding targets

Demonstrated success driving new business, fleet growth, and upselling through dealers or channel partners

Strong commercial judgement with clear ownership of revenue outcomes

Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to confidently deliver software demonstrations and sales pitches to dealers and customers

Proven ability to influence, coach, and mentor dealer sales teams to improve performance
Preferable

Experience in ICT, telematics, GPS, or technology‑enabled solutions

Demonstrated ability to navigate a cross‑functional global business to drive commercial outcomes

Demonstrated sales discipline with strong execution, forecasting accuracy, and accountability for results

Dealer Sales Bowler, Pipeline & Forecast: Clear dealer‑level sales bowlers, up‑to‑date pipelines, and accurate forecasting aligned to revenue targets.

Dealer Performance Reviews: Regular pipeline, conversion, and close‑rate reviews to drive measurable dealer performance improvement.

Sales Coaching & Enablement: Ongoing dealer sales coaching, deal support, and solution demonstrations to lift execution and revenue delivery.
