About the role
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Triaging of referrals for the Child Development Service (including specialist child development service, paediatric outpatient clinics and sub-acute care)
Comprehensive knowledge of referral and eligibility guidelines, scheduling processes/guidelines.
Cross department review of referrals to ensure 'no wrong door' for children that are referred to General Paediatrics.
Initial referral response for families who require additional support to engage with services whilst waiting for care.

HP4 - $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
NG6 - $57.48 - $61.55 per hour
Mandatory Requirements:
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
Appointment to this position requires proof of a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification and registration or membership/eligibility for membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
This role provides health, counselling and support services that involve children and will require a blue card. This is applicable for non-AHPRA registered professions (ie. Speech pathology and Social Work).
