Our Secondary Girls' School is currently seeking a passionate and experienced VCE Health and Human Development Teacher.
This is a permanent part time role offering 0.2 FTE, 14.25 hours per week across 3 flexible days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver VCE Health and Human Development and or Humanities instruction
- Develop and implement differentiated teaching programs to meet the needs of diverse learners keeping mental wellbeing and human development at the forefront
- Work collaboratively with faculty colleagues to support quality teaching and curriculum innovation
- Monitor, assess, and report on student learning and progress
- Foster a respectful, supportive, and aspirational classroom culture
About You:
- 3 years proven success teaching Health and Human Development at a VCE Secondary level
- Strong content knowledge and understanding of current best practice in Secondary Health and Human Development teaching methods
- Effective classroom management and a relational approach to student engagement
- Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with staff and contribute to faculty goals
- Current VIT registration
- A sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children
