The Opportunity
At Fitness & Lifestyle Group , creating healthier lives starts with creating safer workplaces. Every day, thousands of team members support our members to achieve their health and wellbeing goals. Working at the intersection of strategy, operations and leadership, you won't just define the framework—you'll be hands-on in bringing it to life. From risk management and emergency preparedness through to injury management, legislative compliance and capability development, you'll work closely with leaders across the business to embed practical, consistent and effective safety practices into every part of the organisation.
You will play a key role across operational leadership, risk management and governance initiatives, ensuring our safety systems remain compliant, accessible and fit for purpose while driving continuous improvement through data, insight and strong stakeholder partnerships.
With a large, geographically dispersed workforce, there is a significant opportunity to build consistent safety standards while strengthening leadership capability and organisational culture. You will balance strong governance with practical execution—ensuring we not only meet legislative obligations, but create an environment where every team member feels empowered to put safety first.
