Reporting to the Supervisor Supply, this position will be accountable for:
- Supervising, mentoring and training the Supply personnel, including but not limited to performance reviews and day to day guidance.
- Safely, productively and cost efficiently supervise/contribute to the success of the Supply department to achieve budget/forecast targets for the operation.
- Maintain effective relationships and communication with stakeholders including contractors, commercial partners and departments.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner by looking at ways to improve efficiencies and maintain all KPI’s.
- Identify priorities and managing resources to fit the businesses’ needs.
- Ensure receipting of freight is achieved in an accurate and timely manner
- Safely and efficiently ensure unload/backload of freight trucks is achieved and ensure all freight is reconciled against manifest and con notes.
- Responsibility to keep the Supply Supervisor informed and updated with all supply related activities and in particular issues that may impact safety and production.
- Pick and issue sales orders in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Coordinate the expediting of urgent items as required.
- Assist procurement team with the resolution of overage, shortage and damage queries along with any problems that may occur with transportation.
Requirements to be successful in this role are:
- High level communication skills
- Supply Chain knowledge
- Inventory & Materials Management experience
- High level competency in Pronto, MS Excel, Word, MS Outlook
- Certificate III in Transport & Logistics (Warehousing & Storage) (Desired)
- Minimum HR Licence
