Casual Disability Support Worker – Hornsby LGA
Australian Support Workers Sydney is seeking a reliable and flexible Casual Disability Support Worker who thrives in a dynamic environment and is confident stepping into fill‑in shifts at short notice.

About the Role
You will be supporting clients across the Hornsby LGA throughout the week and weekends. This role is ideal for someone who:
- Is not usually working weekends and can offer full flexibility
- Can confidently accept last‑minute shifts
- Is available for ad hoc weekday support
- Can commit to shifts typically ranging from 5–6 hours
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a support worker who is proactive, compassionate, and confident in working with clients who may have complex needs.
Desirable Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year experience in disability support
- All mandatory NDIS worker requirements completed
- Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support, or related field
- Current Police Check
- Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans with a solid understanding of behaviour strategies
- Background in nursing or psychology (highly regarded)
- Ability to engage clients, especially when they appear withdrawn or disengaged
